Through competitive grants, Hyundai Hope on Wheels provides crucial funding to eligible Children’s Oncology Group member institutions. These grants enable researchers to pursue their efforts in exploring new treatment options, improving patient care standards, and ultimately, finding cures. We are proud to announce that by 2026, Hyundai Hope on Wheels will have contributed a remarkable $303 million, supporting over 1,500 childhood cancer research endeavors across more than 175 institutions. In 2025 alone, we awarded $27 million through various grant categories, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to this vital cause.

Our grants are categorized to ensure that every aspect of pediatric cancer research is addressed. In 2025, we successfully allocated over $27 million to hospitals throughout the United States. The grant categories include the Hyundai Scholar Hope Grant, which provides $400,000 over two years for translational research, and the Hyundai Young Investigators Grant, offering $300,000 over two years for innovative research. Additional funding includes the Bridge2k Grant ($150,000 for one year) and the Impact Grant ($100,000 annually), ensuring a comprehensive approach to combating childhood cancer.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels has specific grant categories aimed at fostering excellence in pediatric cancer research. In 2025, we proudly announced the following winners: the Hyundai Scholar Hope Grant awarded $400,000 to 31 researchers, while the Hyundai Young Investigators Grant provided $300,000 to 14 winners. The Bridge2k Grant supported 2 exceptional projects with $150,000 each, and our Impact Grant contributed $100,000 to 57 promising research initiatives, showcasing the diverse scope of our support.
