Hyundai Hope on Wheels creates awareness for pediatric cancers and awards substantial grants to doctors and premier research centers for life-saving research. This 28-year commitment awards grants in various categories to researchers at eligible Children’s Oncology Group member institutions. The highly competitive grants are aimed at expanding the knowledge base of the disease and improving the standards of care. We are encouraged by advances in technology and the potential breakthroughs that enable scientists to understand the disease better than ever. By 2026, Hyundai Hope on Wheels will have contributed a lifetime donation total of $303 million in support of more than 1,500 childhood cancer research grants to over 175 hospitals and research institutions.

In 2025, we awarded $27 million through our various grant programs, each designed to support innovative research and foster future leaders in the field. Our Bridge2k Grant provides $150,000 for one year, while the Hyundai Scholar Hope Grant awards $400,000 over two years. The Hyundai Young Investigator Grant offers $300,000 for two years, and the Hyundai Impact Grant provides $100,000 as an annual award. These grants are essential for fostering new ideas and accelerating research in pediatric oncology.
